GH Intro

Genius hour projects are something that I have been introduced to only recently in my years a Brock. When I first learned about genius hour, I knew it would be something that I would love to do in my own classroom in the future. It is a way for students to create their own project about anything they desire. This type of learning is a way to find out the passions of your students and learn about them, while they can also learn something new. By actually being able to create my own genius project, it is extremely helpful to know how to lay out the schedule of the project, and how to break it up into smaller sections to make the process easier for students. Creating an online schedule can be helpful for students to keep track of where they should be on their genius project, though it should be open enough for them to work at their own time.
