Creating a movie trailer is a very fun way to get your students excited about what they are about to be learning. In my other classes we have ongoing discussions of creating a 'hook' for every lesson that really pulls your students into what they are about to learn. Making your own movie trailer for a specific lesson is a great way to get your students engaged with the lesson. I had a lot of fun making this trailer for my genius project and it was simple enough to create. It is also a good summary of what I am learning about for my project. This can also be a good task for students to do too, where they can create a movie trailer that summarizes a unit that they have previously learned to show their learning.
